What you receive
One product key per installation, emailed the moment payment clears and listed on your order page as well. Keys are five groups of five characters, in the shape the installer’s License dialog expects.
The installer itself is a free download on this site. A licence is what turns off the trial clock, so there is nothing to wait for and nothing to be sent.
How the licence works
A key is per machine and does not expire. The installer checks it with arithmetic on the key itself, so a machine with no network connection will still accept one.
Registering the product is a separate step that does reach us. It is optional, it never blocks an install, and it is what puts you on the list for bug-fix and release mail.
